SELECTED WORKS

1. LOOK AWAY: A Journey to See the Unseen (link to video)Exhibition at Les Tres Xemeneies, Barcelona
2025
Digital, PremierPro, Procreate

Away is somewhere and I went there. I hacked the system and forced it to show me away. This project looks at the concept of away through different lenses in video format and seeks to focus viewers on a journey they are a part of but never spare a moment to think about. The project follows the journey of away at the beginning, when the item leaves your hand, to its final resting place. Walking across a postnatural landscape so uncanny you want to look away, this project asks you to look. Look at away.

2. LOOK AWAY Data Report
Exhibition at Les Tres Xemeneies, Barcelona
2025
Typewriter, bookbinding, handmade data viz

A companion piece to the video essay, this data report is a poetic interpretation of a well-trodden topic. Weaving in data from personal collection, Spain-specific landfill locations to data on the right to repair, this data report invites readers to look "away". Purposefully avoiding sustainability buzz-words, this report helps us remove ourselves from the chaos of modernity and contemplate the impact "away" is having on us all.

3. The Arenas of AGI Hype [in progress]
To be presented at (DON'T) BELIEVE THE HYPE at UOC Barcelona
2025
Figma, Python, RawGraphs, Qualitative data analysis

Arenas of AGI Hype analyses recursive language patterns around Artificial General Intelligence. This particular visual database is based on theory by Andreu Belsunces that hype around AGI is driven by narratives of uncertainty and inevitability. These socio-technical-fictions can be characterized by their epistemic, aesthetic, affective, behavioural and performative qualities. The focus of this project was to collect qualitative data points around Artificial General Intelligence in media, academia, tech outlets and general discourse. Using qualitative research methodologies web-based data visualizations were created that help explain AGI hype in six categories or arenas, used as a metaphor for the verbal and monetary race towards AGI.

4. Water Desalination Infographic
Project with Tara Lee Monheim
2025
Figma

Charged with creating an explanatory graphic on water desalination, Tara and I used infographic techniques to guide viewers on a journey from the sea back to the sea.

5. A World with No More Night (link to project)
2025
Readymag, scrollytelling, Arduino, R

This project is the culmination of a data collection and research project investigating in this scrollytelling experience on our night skies. I rode through the streets of Barcelona collecting light quality data, reserached the h*ll out of light pollution, and witnessed a country-wide blackout that accidentally coincided with this project.

6. Bodies, Bodies, Bodies
Data Design Class Project
2024
InDesign, Excel, RawGraphs

This visual exploration of the way we feel towards ourselves came from a question that would not leave me alone. Why do we hate our bodies? Pulling inspiration from fashion magazines and data from Instagram surveys, international data, and text analysis from magazines, this magazine was created.

7. Freedom to Frolic: A City that Runs Free
Project with Maria Antunes and Manaal Oomerbhoy
2024
QGIS, Figma, Rawgraphs

Challenged to think of a citywide campaign on animals, our team decided to focus on Barcelona’s recent improvements to a city dog’s life. Focusing on each neighborhood’s off-lease areas, we created a free-spirited campaign encouraging dog owners to use these areas.

8. Moldova Water Users
Included in report for MCC from Mathematica
2024
Adobe Illustrator, RawGraphs

I was brought onto the Moldova Users Survey project at Mathematica to create and improve a number of data visualisations.
